Selling your products on Halaal Souk

Selling your products on Halaal Souk

So, you want to sell on Halaal Souk?

Halaal Souk is an online marketplace where our customers can gain access to niche products they may only find at a Souk (Flea Market or bazaar) – although we also provide access to everyday items such as grocerries, clothing etc.

We have tried to make the vendor registration process as simple as possible to allow seamless onboarding. If your products meet our specifications, onboarding can be even more simpler!

The first step is to click on the “Become a Vendor” menu item on the home page (top right corner). If you already have a customer account, it is highly recommended that you use a separate email address for your vendor account i.e. create a totally separate account.

We also highly recommend that you use a GMAIL email account to avoid emails ending up in your spam folder – resulting in you missing out on important information from your customer.

Having a separate vendor account from your customer account can prevent confusion and simplifies navigation on the Halaal Souk website.

Become a vendor on Halaal Souk

After clicking on “Become a Vendor”, you will be directed to the Registration page. Fill in the necessary fields and choose a unique shop name. A shop URL is the unique link that customers can use to visit your store directly on Halaal Souk. This usually has your shop name in it. You may change the shop URL but note that the shop URL has to be unique to each vendor.

Once you have filled in all the necessary fields, click on “Register”. An email verification link will be sent to your chosen vendor email address. Be sure to check you email and click on the link. After you have clicked on the verification link, your account would have been created!

You can now log into your dashboard and upload products however, your store will not yet be visible to customers until you send us the necessary documentation for verification. This can be done through your dashboard or via email. This is covered in depth on our HELP page with tutorial videos. Click on the button to visit our HELP page. The HELP page also contains the links to our vendor tutorial videos.
