PURCHASING ON HALAAL SOUK

Head over to the Halaal Souk website and click on “Login/Register” on the upper right section of the page. Enter your details and then click register.

Find the product you wish to buy

Search boxes are located on nearly every page of the website situated on the top of the page. You will also find links to product categories in the menu situated on the upper left section of the web page. When you find a product that interests you, click the title or name of the product to see its details, including availability.

Add to cart

Once you have found the product you want to buy, click on “Add to Cart” which can be done by hovering over the product image or by clicking the “Add to cart” button on the product page. You can add products to your cart and continue shopping. Once you are done shopping, click on the chopping cart icon (upper right section – icon looks like a shopping bag).

You can also add products to your Wishlist. A Wishlist is a handy way of storing items that you don’t need to purchase immediately. You can move items from your Wishlist to your cart when you’re ready to purchase them.

Checkout

Click Proceed to Checkout after you’ve reviewed the items in your Shopping Cart.

If prompted, sign in to your account or create a new account if this is your first order.

Choose your delivery method:

Vendors will provide options for delivery based on your delivery address. Vendors may also offer you a pickup option.

After you have clicked “Checkout” you will be redirected to the PayFast website. You can use your Visa or Mastercard to pay for your items. You can also do an instant EFT. This process is secure and is handled by PayFast.

Each product page has a “Get Support” button. After clicking this button, you will be able to send a message to the product vendor directly. Vendors can assist you with additional product information.

We only allow selling and shipping nationally (South Africa).

Each product vendor specifies their own warranty or exchange policy. This can be found by scrolling down under the product image and clicking on the “Warranty Policy” tab.

After purchasing a digital product, a download link will be emailed to you. You need to click on the download link to download your product. Digital items range from audio to books and even coupons.

AFTER YOUR PURCHASE

The product vendor may send you frequent updates through email regarding your order. Tracking information will also be sent to you via email.

You are welcome to contact us so that we can resolve your missing package. Contact us via email on [email protected] or through WhatsApp/Call on 0786 88 55 60.

You will have to contact the product vendor directly to cancel the order. If the product has not started shipping, the vendor can cancel the order. If the product has already started shipping, cancellation will not be possible. You may contact the vendor by clicking on the “Get Support” button on the product page for the item you wish to cancel. Alternatively, you can contact us via email on [email protected] or through WhatsApp/Call on 0786 88 55 60.

Unfortunately, once your order has been paid for, it will not be possible to change the delviery address. You can cancel the order if the item has not already shipped.

If the vendor is using their own courier company already, they are welcome to continue with their preferred company. Vendors are also welcomed to use the Halaal Souk courier services as we receive preferential rates.

We are currently working with multiple courier companies to secure the best rates possible. You will be notified as soon as we have confirmed the rates.

Vendors can ship their products in their own packaging provided that the external box used is a Halaal Souk box. As an introductory offer, we will supply vendors with one load of boxes (consisting of multiple sizes) thereafter the boxes can be purchased from us.
